My First Love

It's all started with a joke! A joke that I've never imagined that would make things complicated! At first, it doesn't really matter unto me, I don't really care about him, we're in the same class, same group during class activities. . .But we're not really close to each other, we're not even talking if it has nothing to do with our academics. I only know his name and and he only too knows only my name, nothing more, nothing less. In short,. . .we're just acquainted with each other.

But all of a sudden, everything changed, no one expect this things will happened! even me, I don't expected this sudden changes. . .and you know what's the reason?

It's because of a JOKE!!

yeah that's right, a joke that leads us to many complicated situations. A joke that made my life colorful, and at the same time. . .

MISERABLE. . . .

I was second year high school back then when I experienced being in love! my, my, my...I always feel that I was in cloud nine whenever I'm with him! whenever we're together! And I remember the days when we became friends. . It's too sudden, that I've never noticed that our closeness became different. And went to another level, with us noticing it.

FLASHBACK:

I was in the classroom, our homeroom was no where to be found.. ( hehehe) I mean she's not yet around and we're still waiting for her to show up in the class.. of course, since our teacher has not yet around, everyone's busy chit-chatting with their colleagues, same goes for me. ^_____^
I was talking to my friend Rachel, she's our class president, and we're very close to each other. she sat beside me and all of the sudden she asked me.
"Who's your crush in our class?"

I was startled when she asked me that question, my gosh! what makes her asked that question! hahaha! @_@

" Why are you asking all of a sudden?"
" I'm just wondering, coz' you see, we're close to each other and yet you're not telling to me who's your crush? " she's asking as if it's a very very big deal to her! ^_^
"hahaha! its a S-E-C-R-E-T!"
but she won't stop asking me...
" tell me... please?" she plead.
"no, I wont, and that's final."
"so unfair. .  I told you every little details of my love life and you, you wouldnt budge to tell me. " she said while pouting at me. It made me smile seeing her pout. hehehhe! cute! " still no!" I answered. but even if I refused, she keeps on bugging and bugging me! she won't stop, even if I turn her down, she's veeeeeerrrrryyy persistent and eager to know who's that guy.

hayyyy.... and then. . that's left me no choice.coz' she won't stop bugging me if I won't tell her.
" Okay! okay!, Fine! I'll tell you now, so please, stop,"
"okay, I'll stop if you'll tell me" she said with a big grin in her face.
oh man! what am I going to do with this girl! hahahaha! >_<
" He's Nemuel! "

Gosh!!!!! It's really really embarrassing, knowing that the person I was referring to was seating 2 chairs away from my back. Hayyyy. . .  I even whisper it so softly so that he wouldn't hear. Rachel got a sheepish look in her face and grin even wider, ( Oh man! I don't like it when she's like that)
"really? you like him?!" she said pointing at Kenny!
"hey! Rachel!!! don't be too loud! he might hear you! or rather his friends might hear you! it's so embarrassing!" I said as i tried to calm her down, but alas! I think luck was really not into my side! and there she goes! She did the very least thing that I expect her to do. . .

She walked towards Nemuel and Kennys seat ( oh, By the way, Kenny is his best friend) and said:

" Nemuel, she said that she likes you! " then point at me

waaaaaa!!!!!!! I'm sooooooo embarrassed! I wanna go melt in to my seat and go vanished right away! Oh man!!!!! why is it happening to me!!!! I got flushed over my face! I can't even looked at him and his friends!

" really? she likes nemuel?" asked Kenny to Rachel who's smiling sheepishly.

"u-huh! she did! " she said loudly.. and there we go! THE TEASING! his friends started teasing me! and they're smiling at me like crazy people! It's a good thing that I still manage to regain my composure and stand, I went to their seats and confidently said :
" hahaha! Nemuel, she's kidding, you should've not believe in her words! she's just teasing me," I really, really tried my best to ignore their tease to me and smiled at them as if nothing happens.

" really?" asked Kenny
" I swear!" I lied to them

he smiled and look at me, then said " You're sooo cute when you're flushed like that! " and smiled charmingly to me! I stuttered and said " a-anou.. hahaha! t-thanks!, but believe me, I really don't have any crush on you" I said, then bit my tongue for lying to him

" so you mean, you don't like him?" asked Kenny ( man!  why do you always barged in into other's business!!! arrgghh)
"ahahaha!.. I-it's not like I don't like him. . I- I like h-him. . . but not the way you thought of it. " I said trying to avoid his gaze.
"hhmmm.. I'm just curious, if it's not me whom you admired, then who?" arrgghh!! the billion dollar question! I hate it! why?! why?! why?! of all people! haisssttt!!! so frustrating! >.<

Before I give him answer, I looked around and look for someone, and luckily, I saw someone! hahaha! I'm still lucky!

" o-oh, y-yeah,,  Allan! that's right! It's Allan! I just like him, satisfied now? " I said hesitantly...( another lie! )

" hhmmm.. really? I never thought that you like him." Nemuel said as he keep on asking. phewww.. it's really hard for me to lie! GOD!!!! help me! T.T
" Well,,, that's life! expect the unexpected! hahaha! yeah right!? " I smiled at them hiding my uneasiness!
" well, I believe in you, if you say so. " then, he smiled again to me s if he's trying to test if I'm really sure of what I'm saying!
" yeah, Thanks! and Rachel..." I look upon her and I know she already gets the message. And we return to our seats.

" you're really unbelievable! Why did you tell him that I admired him! " I asked with a tone of irritation.
"I thought it's okay, and oh, well, you did not told me to shut my mouth! hahaha! that's why,, I guess."
" My, my!! Rachel. you're really unbelievable! " I said with a look of disbelief  written over my face.
" I'm sorry, I'm really. . . It's just that,, I thought you'll like it " she said apologetically.
" What done is done, we can't do anything now." I said and smiled on her to lift the heavy atmosphere between us.
" you're not mad? " she asked.
"what do you think?"
"ohh...... pls. don't get mad at me." she plead
" I'm not mad,, don't worry, you know that I can't stay mad at you! " then I hug her to reassure her that she don't need to worry anymore and she muttered thank you.

 I thought after that confrontation and conversation, everything will be fine, everything will go back to its pace. but there we go. . ( expect the unexpected) the moment I said to Nemuel that Allan is the person whom I admired and not him,, my goodness.. I never expected that he'll hear that! and not only him! but he's friends too! oohhhh no..... much more bigger problem! now, how am I going to fixed this! I can't runaway! >_< someone help me!!!!!!!!
